Barry Tubb, the top gun actor, is suing Paramount for his appearance in Top Gun: Maverick

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 22, 2024
Barry Tubb, the original Top Gunner, is suing Paramount Pictures for a photograph of him that they used without his permission in their 2023 smash hit Top Gun: Maverick. Tubb, 60, was one of the Top Gun pilots of 1986, alongside Tom Cruise's Maverick and Val Kilmer's Iceman, to name a few. Although he is featured in a few shots from his 1986 'class picture' from the original shown on a wall, the actor does not return to Top Gun: Maverick.
