Early life
Scott was born in Campbell, Missouri. She is of French, Spanish, and Native American ancestry. She was a regular sight at beauty pageants winning 45 titles during high school. She enrolled in College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, after graduating from Campbell High School in 1997. She earned a degree in theater and a minor in rhetoric in college, and was voted valedictorian of her class (4.083 GPA). Scott went straight from college to Los Angeles to begin an acting career.
Modeling career
In 2006, Scott was named one of People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People. She was also the face of Merle Norman Cosmetics in that year, and she appeared in several of Norman's advertisements and commercials.
