Early life
Anjum Fakih was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on September 12, 1989, in a Konkani Islam family. Kamaluddin Fakih and Sultana Fakih, both of her parents, live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She obtained her degree from the University of Mumbai. She left her home to pursue a career in acting and modeling and then moved to Mumbai at the age of 19. Later, she began working as a model and then appeared in many commercials.
Career
When she was 19 years old, Fakih decided to become a model.
She ventured into Hindi television in 2010 with an unnoticed portion of Bonita Ahluwalia in rom-com Mahi Way.
After a five-year absence, she returned to television in 2015 with Star Plus's romantic drama Tere Sheher Mein, which starred her as Rachita Agnihotri. She appeared in Time Machine in the same year. Fakih appeared in Ek Tha Rageshwari, a Zee TV period drama series, in December, and she was praised for her acting abilities long before she left the show in 2016.
