Early life
Lindvall was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to Randall Lindvall, a pharmacist, and Laura Rasdall, a medical technologist and massage therapist. She was born in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and attended Lee's Summit High School. A talent scout discovered her and signed with IMG while attending a local Kansas City fashion show at age 14.
Personal life
While vacationing in the British Virgin Islands in 2001, Lindvall met South African diver William Edwards. The couple married a year ago and then divorced in 2006. Model Audrey Lindvall's younger sister, model Audrey Lindvall, was killed by a fuel tanker while riding her bicycle in Lee's Summit, Missouri, the same year.
Lindvall briefly dated American hotelier and actor Vikram Chatwal in 2012.
Lindvall bought a 7+12-acre equestrian-zoned home in Topanga, California, in 2006. She and her two sons now live there.

Lindvall has appeared in several popular magazines, including ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Matthew, Numero, Vogue, I-D, and W, as well as Fendi, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Jil Sander, Jil Sander, Homme, Pee, DKNY, Prada, Paris Vuitton, 2004. Lindvall collaborated with Article22 on a jewelry line that promoted peace and well-being each year. "I Am Love, I Am Light, I Am Peace" is a capsule collection that includes 14-karat gold and silver with melted shrapnel. "It represents the symbiotic relationship between man and nature and the universe," Lindvall said of the collection, because the pieces are geometric.
