Joanna Krupa (born 23 April 1979) is a Polish model, singer, and animal rights campaigner.
She is best known internationally as the host and head judge of Polish Top Model, as well as appearances on reality television shows Dancing with the Stars and The Real Housewives of Miami.
Early life
Krupa was born in Warsaw on April 23, 1979. She was born Roman Catholic. Marta, her younger sister who is also a model, is a model for the younger one. Krupa and her family immigrated to Illinois at the age of five. She attended Mary Lyon Public School, Glenbard East High School, and Steinmetz High School in Chicago. The family later settled in Los Angeles.
She studied classical dance as a child and then became interested in modeling. She was enrolled by her mother in a modeling academy as a 13-year-old girl.
Personal life
Krupa proposed to nightclub owner and businessman Romain Zago in 2010 after many years of dating. They married in Aviara, California, on June 13, 2013. She filed for divorce on July 10, 2017. The divorce was finalized several weeks later on August 17. On March 25, 2018, she revealed her engagement to Douglas Nunes on Instagram. They married in a private ceremony at the Benedictine Abbey in Kraków, Poland, on August 4, 2018. On November 2, 2019, they welcomed their daughter Asha-Leigh Nunes.
Career in modeling
She appeared on the reality TV show Zosta Snoop Doga (Girls Gone Wild) under the pseudonym Regina Bartkowski. She later underwent breast augmentation surgery and began modeling as a photomodel.
