Alexandra Irina Maru?a (born August 23, 1986), better known by her stage name Andra, is a Romanian singer and judge at România au talent. * In 2007, she received Gold and Platinum awards for her album De la frate la sora. * She worked with Dan Bittman, Direc?ia 5, What's Up, Vunk, Marcel Pavel, Marius Moga, Smiley, and the band Simplu. On Antena 1 and O-la-la on Pro TV, AndraAlex was recognized for Best Romanian Act at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards. * At the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Romanian Act. "Why" her album, "Why," debuted on Billboard, gaining number eight. "Lie to Me" and "Sweet Dreams" are among her other songs that have had critical success. Maru?a is a partial Albanian descendent. Sony Pictures selected Romanian actor Smurfette from the animated film Smurfs: The Unknown Village in 2017, her third film experience for the artist after she dubbed the Romanian voice of a goose in Kung Fu Panda 3 in 2016.
