Alvin "Bud" Dupree Jr. (born February 12, 1993) is an American football outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL).
He played college football at Kentucky and was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Personal life
Dupree was born in Toomsboro, Georgia. Alvin Dupree Sr. is his father, and Sophia Stephens is his mother. He is also a huge dog lover. His godmother gave him the nickname "Bud." She said that although his mother was pregnant with him, she had a nightmare of people calling him Bud and him playing football.
After being charged with misdemeanor battery assault after a match against the Miami Dolphins in the early hours of February 18, 2022, Dupree surrendered himself to police. High school career

Dupree started all 12 regular season games as a sophomore in 2012, totaling 91 tackles, 12.5 tackles-for-loss, and 6.5 sacks. Against Western Kentucky, he had a season-high 12 tackles. He finished tenth in tackles and seventh in the FBS for sackings and tackles for loss in his sophomore season. Professional career

In the 2003 NFL Draft, Dewayne Robertson was the first University of Kentucky player to be selected in the first round after defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson made the fourth overall pick to the New York Jets. He began his rookie season as the backup left outside linebacker behind veteran Arthur Moats. Dupree made his professional debut in the Steelers' regular season opener against the New England Patriots and lost by 28–21, with two solo tackles and sacked Tom Brady.
