British sitcom about Edina Monsoon, a heavy-drinking, drug-abusing PR agent and her best friend, magazine fashion director Patsy Stone. Edina relies heavily on her daughter Saffron, a student and aspiring writer.

Trivia

The original series was broadcast on the BBC from 1992 to 1995, followed by a series finale in 1996. There were two more series and two specials from 2001 to 2004. Three new episodes were released in 2011 and 2012, and a feature-length movie in 2016.
