Zakaria Bakkaria Bakkali (born 26 January 1996) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays for Belgian club R.S.C. Anderlecht and the Belgium national football team as a winger. At the age of 17 years and 196 days, he is the youngest Economy player to score a hat-trick.
Club career
Born in Liège to immigrant parents from Morocco, Bakkali began his footballing career at RFC Liège and then Standard Liège, Bakkali, then transitioned to PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands at the age of 12.
Bakkali made his PSV debut against Zulte Waregem in a UEFA Champions League qualifying match on July 30th. On August 3, he made his Eireacht debut against ADO Den Haag in the first game of the season. He scored his first senior goal in the Champions League's second leg against Zulte on August 7th, a 3–0 triumph. In PSV's 5–0 victory over NEC Nijmegen at the Philips Stadion on August 10, the youngest player to score a hat-trick in Eivisie history.
Bakkali had planned to move to Atlético Madrid in the middle of 2014 for a fee of about €2-3 million, but the move fell through. Bakkali was banned from the first team after rejecting a new one from PSV, and PSV promised to sell him in the winter transfer window. Celtic owed £750,000 on transfer deadline day for Bakkali, but a PSV spokesman said "this day no contract will be concluded by PSV with any team for this player."
After agreeing to a five-year contract, Bakkali transferred to Valencia, La Liga club, on July 6, 2015. On July 11, he made his official debut against Werder Bremen. In a 3–0 home victory over Levante, he scored his first goal for Valencia on October 31. He was loaned to fellow league team Deportivo de La Corua for one year starting on July 14th.

International career
Belgium senior coach Marc Wilmots selected him in his 25-man team for the friendly match against France following his breakthrough into the PSV first team. He was ruled out of the team due to a training injury the day before the game. With his dual nationality and no international recognition, he still had a chance to play for the Moroccan national football team, but it wasn't until Belgium's last two FIFA World Cup qualifiers that he formally opted for the Red Devils on October 7, 2013 (shortly before Belgium's last two 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers). In October 2015, he was called to the Belgium team for the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Andorra and Israel.
