Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Jimmie Allen, and Zach Williams appeared as additional guests, with Tom Everett Scott, Ana Gasteyer, and Zach Williams appearing alongside Parton. Parton's intention to spread the "Mountain Magic" of Dollywood at Christmastime, and the story is said to be full of heartwarming Christmas themes. According to a NBC press release, the film comes to Parton when "Three Wise Mountain Men" arrives, leading her on a journey through her history and helping her become reinspired by Christmas's magic.
