Yon Tumarkin (born 22 July 1989) is an Israeli actor and singer best known for his role in Leo in the television series Split.
Early life
Tumarkin was born and raised in Jaffa, Israel, to a family of Jewish descent. He is Naama Tumarkin's youngest son and artist Yigal Tumarkin. Martin Hellberg, a German actor whose father was a pastor, was his paternal grandfather. When he was 13, his parents were divorced, and he and his mother migrated to Tel Aviv. He attended Tichon Ironi Alef High School, earning the Art Diploma. He took a break from the army for his television work on August 18, 2008. Yon Tumarkin left the army in 2011 after 11 years.
Personal life
