Yasmin Paige (born 24 June 1991) is an English actress who is best known for her roles as Jordana Bevan in Submarine, Beth Mitchell in Pramface and Maria Jackson in The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Life and career
Paige was born in London, to a Jewish mother and a Muslim Iraqi father. She has worked since the age of four. In 2003's film Wondrous Oblivion, she made her screen debut. Paige appeared in The Mysti Show as a child. She had to be reduced in the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures to accommodate her GCSEs exams.
Paige appeared in Ballet Shoes, in which she portrays one of the principals, Petrova Fossil, and co-starred as "Jordana Bevan" in the 2010 film Submarine. Paige appeared in the six-part BBC Three comedy Pramface in February and March 2012. In 2013, she appeared in a second series for the second time. In the Channel 4 drama Spoof or Die, she appeared as Nicky, which aired on July 30th, 2012. She was the principal protagonist of the E4 teen drama Glue in 2014.
