"I had just finished reading The Government Racket: Washington Waste from A to Z," Flynn said of the book. It's without a doubt the most depressing and enlightening book on politics that I've ever read. When I first got to Washington, D.C., two summers ago, I was out jogging one day wondering what it would take to really change Washington. A tale began to unfold as I continued running."

In 1998, Pocket Books released a hardcover version of Term Limits, as well as a mass market paperback in 1999, which spent several weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.
