He is best known for his work as a choreographer and guest judge on the Fox television series So You Think You Can Dance.

He has choreographed and performed with Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, and Taylor Swift.

He won an Emmy Award in 2009 for Outstanding Choreography.

Career

Tyce Diorio, who was a finalist in the 1988 Star Search Finals as Keith Diorio, was a finalist early in his career. He was named "Mr. Dance of America" and appeared in a contemporary interpretation of The Nutcracker's "Nuts-n-Krackers" in Boston, Massachusetts, accompanied by dancer Nancy O'Meara, a former "Miss Dance of America."

In the 1995 film Showgirls, Diorio appeared as a dancer and was identified as Keith Diorio in the credits. In 2003, Diorio debuted on the short-lived talent competition Fame. In Every Little Step (2008), a documentary about A Chorus Line's revival in 2006, Diorio also performed a cameo.

Diorio, a featured judge on the TLC's Master of Dance, which aired for the first six-episode season in 2008 (credited as Keith Diorio). He has served as both a choreographer and judge on seven seasons of Fox television's So You Think You Can Dance.

In 2010, he appeared in Move (directed by Kurt E. Soderling and Melinda Songer) alongside others, including Mia Michaels, Paula Abdul, Wade Robson, and Nigel Lythgoe.

Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Má, Ma, *NSYNC, Kelly Osbourne, Céline Dion, and Toni Braxton are among the artists Diorio has worked with. Diorio has appeared in several feature films, including Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Showgirls, Starsky, and Hutch. Today is the 30th Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Paulina Rubio and Tobey Maguire have choreographed routines; advertisements for iPod, McDonald's, Sylvania, and Road Runner DSL; and a musical called Just Another Man. Diorio has collaborated with Katie Holmes and Maguire privately. He also choreographed the music videos for Paula Abdul's album Dance Like There's No Tomorrow and Taylor Swift's Shake It Off.
