After offering masks and hose in Kenneth Smith's tumultuous execution, activists chastised the Canadian firm for "death dealing."

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 26, 2024
Since it provided the mask and hose used in the execution of convicted murderer Kenneth Eugene Smith in Alabama on Thursday, a Canadian firm is being accused of'death trading.' Officials said Smith, 58, was pronounced dead at 8:25 p.m. at an Alabama jail after inhaled pure nitrogen gas through a face mask, resulting in oxygen deprivation. Gov. Robert Bentley of Alabama has been governor for 38 years. The execution, according to Kay Ivey, was revenge for Elizabeth Sennett's 1988 murder-for-hire murder. After falling into debt and wanted to obtain life insurance, her husband hired three men to carry out the deed.

Just Stop Oil activists plotted to take King Charles waxwork 'hostage' before slapping cake on it

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 1, 2023
Two Just Stop Oil activists, who smeared vegan cake on a waxwork of Prince Charles in Madame Tussauds, confessed to plotting to take the statue hostage. Eilidh McFadden, 20, and Tom Johnson, 29, have been charged with £3500 in damages to the London attraction.

After slapping cake in the face of the waxwork King, only Stop Oil demonstrators were ordered to pay Madame Tussauds

On Tuesday, Eilidh McFadden, 20, and Tom Johnson, 29, were found guilty of criminal harm after Westminster Magistrates' Court heard they assaulted the model 'in the manner of a slapstick parody using custard pies.' The activists slapped the cakes, which were topped with shaving foam in the model's face, before quoting Charles' own words on climate change on October 24 last year. Following the stunt at the popular London tourist destination, his waxwork had to be repainted, while its jacket, shirt, and bow tie needed to be dry-cleaned.
