Tom Clarke Life

Tom Clarke (born 11 March 1986) is an English multi-instrumentalist and keyboardist for the British indie rock band The Enemy. Clarke has appeared on both albums, on We'll Live and Die in These Towns, playing guitar, piano, and strings.

On the first episode of series 23 of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, he appeared as a guest on Noel Fielding's team.

Personal life

Tom Clarke had bought a 1972 Jaguar E Type because it reminded him of his grandfather, according to The Sun on April 14, 2009. "My granddad used to work in Jaguar's Brown's Lane Coventry in 1972, and I wanted a car he'd worked on," the singer said.

Clarke had bought a "ridiculous farm" and was taking a short break from music to decorate in January 2010. Clarke said the band was rehearsing and was prolifically writing new Enemy material.

He closed Enemy's residency in October 2016 by proposing to unethical girlfriend and tour DJ Kate Frost.

Charles Wilson, a legend on Fleet Street, died at the age of 87

Mr Wilson was born in Glasgow and began working with the News Chronicle and the Daily Mail. He edited The Times from 1985 to 1990, but despite his ferocious style, he only fired three people, one of whom was Boris Johnson for fabricating a quote. He was the Mirror Group's later managing director. 'He had an amazing career for a young man who started life in Glasgow's streets,' said Charles Garside, a friend and former assistant editor of the Daily Mail.' He worked closely with Rupert Murdoch during the Wapping wars and for Robert Maxwell after he disappeared from [his yacht] the Lady Ghislaine.'
