Tina Ellen Hobley (born 20 May 1971) is an English actress and radio presenter best known for her appearances as Chrissie Williams in the BBC One medical drama series Holby City.
Hobley left Holby City in November 2013 after 12 years.
Early life
Hobley was born in Hampstead, England. In an attempt to combat her introversion, she was extremely shy as an infant and was taken to speech and drama classes. She grew up in Mill Hill, London, and attended Bishop Douglass School in East Finchley. Hobley then graduated to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Personal life
In 1998, Hobley's first marriage was to graphic designer Steve Wallington. Isabella, 'Bella', was born in April 1999 and the couple divorced in 2001.
Hobley revealed her engagement to Oliver Wheeler on April 22, 2006, and the pair married later this year. Olivia was born in April 2008 and Orson was born on March 1, 2010. Hobley, a 1991-born student at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, where she worked from 1990 to 1993, appeared in a number of television shows, including Coronation Street as Samantha Failsworth, Harbour Lights as Sue Booker.
Hobley is best known for her appearance in BBC medical drama Holby City as ward sister Chrissie Williams.
