Ricky Pearsall doing 'remarkably well' after being shot on Saturday, says 49ers coach John Lynch: 'Nothing short of miraculous'

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch says wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is doing 'remarkably well' after being shot in a robbery attempt over the weekend. Pearsall was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital with a bullet wound to the chest after a 17-year-old assailant tried stealing the wideout's Rolex. Lynch said that Pearsall, who was placed on the non-football injury list and will miss the first four games of the season, has been outpacing expectations and is focused on getting back on the field.

Ricky Pearsall 'is BACK to work with 49ers as rookie hits weight room' just three days after being shot by 17-year-old armed mugger

Ricky Pearsall reportedly returned to the San Francisco 49ers' facilities just days after being shot during an attempted robbery in the city.  The 49ers placed the wide receiver on the reserve/non-football injury list on Monday but that hasn't stopped him from returning to work.  The rookie will miss at least four games of his debut NFL season due to the injuries he suffered after talking a bullet to the chest but Pearsall was fit enough to report to San Francisco's team facilities Monday.
