On Monday night, the Emmy Awards celebrated nostalgic cast reunions of some of the best and most beloved shows in television history. In an interview with Variety last week, Emmy Awards executive producers Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay hinted two of these reunions for the hit 90s sitcom Martin and the hit legal thriller Ally McBeal. In the interview, Rouzan-Clay said, 'I think they'll be talking about the ones that they might not see on television.'

The cast of Martin reunited on Sunday night on Emmys 2024, more than 30 years since it debuted. Martin Lawrence (Martin Payne), Tisha Campbell (Gina Waters-Payne), Carl Anthony Payne II (Cole Brown), and Tichina Arnold (Pamela James) reunited on Emmy stage in a recreation of their set. The reunion was one of many planned presenter reunions throughout the night, including the casts of The Sopranos, Ally McBeal, Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, American Horror Story, and Grey's Anatomy.

Over 30 years since its first appearance, Netflix is set to air a legendary US sitcom. Martin, which aired on Fox from 1992 to 1997, will be seen on the streaming service on December 15, it was announced on Wednesday. Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell-Martin, and Tichina Arnold appeared in the series for five seasons. Netflix hasn't yet announced how many episodes they're planning to broadcast.

Tichina Arnold, an award-winning actress and singer from CBS' The Neighborhood and Martin, announced on October 27 at Chelsea Music Hall that "we'll be able to brag to all of our friends and followers that these are the people we knew before everybody else was expected to know them." Arnold, the host of the inaugural Paramount Music Showcase, welcomed a crowd of acquaintances, relatives, and industry insiders to three emerging artists — chosen by Paramount's music, creative, and production teams — who are eager to take their work to the next level.
