I assumed I'd just pulled a muscle in my neck - but it actually turned out to be stage four cancer

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 9, 2023
Lily Venus (pictured), who was 24, returned to her GP in November 2021 after a painful lump on her collarbone made her job teaching Zoom exercise classes difficult. Two weeks later, she was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, and she discovered tumors in both of her neck as well as lung and lung cancer. Miss Venus, a girl from Winchester, Hampshire, underwent 12 painful rounds of chemotherapy at University Hospital Southampton and was told she would lose her fertility. However, the now-26-year-old has been in remission for one year and has returned to fitness classes (left) and has maintained her fertility.

Since swapping GP surgery, Mum, 32, has been diagnosed with rare cancer

Jolene Segrave said she spent nearly two months attempting to be seen at The Ridge Medical Centre (inset), Bradford. The 32-year-old first developed troublesome signs in October, screaming of extreme exhaustion and itchiness all over her body before losing weight and experiencing night sweats. The mother-of-three had pain in her shoulder and arm and suspected of a heart attack after a night of alcohol use for the first month. In February, she was finally diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma. Ms Segrave only learned she had the aggressive form of blood cancer when she decided to move her whole family to another GP clinic, then referred her to specialists.
