For 16 months, a Metropolitan Police officer who shoved a woman to the ground was jailed. PC Thomas Andrews was arrested after patrolling officers were called by a member of the public to Forest Hill, south-east London, in July last year. The woman alleged she had been assaulted by Andrews and that her phone had been harmed.
