More than 30 of his own books have been published and illustrated by author, illustrator, and fine artist. He has also illustrated for a number of well-known Australian authors. In 1986, Felix and Alexander's book was named CBC Picture Book of the Year.
Before Fame
He studied architecture but found that it wasn't for him. He began to find the artwork that best represented him by trying out animation, painting, sculpting, and other things before finding illustration.
