Researchers at the University of Oxford discovered that users of the progestogen-only pill had a 20 percent risk of breast cancer, the same as those using the combined tablet. According to previous studies, women who are using or who have recently stopped taking the combined contraceptive pill have a 20 percent higher risk of breast cancer than those who do not take it.
