A judge has dismissed a proposed class action suit brought by two enthusiasts over the presence of actress Ana de Armas in the 2019 film Yesterday, or the absence thereof. Judge Stephen Wilson ruled on Monday that plaintiffs Conor Woulfe and Peter Michael Rosza will not be allowed to proceed further with the complaint because the suit has 'lacks standing' and the plaintiffs' 'injury is self-inflicted.'

Fans of Disney+'s "Loki" series will have to wait a little longer for season two. Kevin Feige, the Marvel CEO, revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in July that the second season of the hit show starring Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson will be headed to Disney+ in mid-2023. He also announced that the season will be included in Phase Five of the MCU. Otherwise, we don't have a ton of details on what will happen during the time-travelling, reality-twisting series's second season. Even as they weren't necessarily the top-billed celebrities in a MTV Movie & TV Awards category, Breakthrough Performance tends to honor those that created TV and film scenes for their own. What do Spider-Man's parallel-universe battles, Ted Lasso's mustache, and Lexi's play on Euphoria all have in common? They're all 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominees, and the awards ceremony has just started. The MTV Movie & TV Awards and the Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED will both be broadcast live from Los Angeles on June 5 in what MTV is calling a one-night-only international event. The nominees for both shows have been announced today (May 11). Unsurprisingly, big cultural touchstones such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, Euphoria, and The Batman lead the pack with multiple nods. Meanwhile, UNSCRIPTED's nomination list includes RuPaul's Drag Race, Selling Sunset, and Summer House as front runners.
