In a $5 million lawsuit launched yesterday, Universal was awarded a $5 million lawsuit for cutting Ana de Armas scenes from the 2019 film Yesterday

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 30, 2023
A judge has dismissed a proposed class action suit brought by two enthusiasts over the presence of actress Ana de Armas in the 2019 film Yesterday, or the absence thereof. Judge Stephen Wilson ruled on Monday that plaintiffs Conor Woulfe and Peter Michael Rosza will not be allowed to proceed further with the complaint because the suit has 'lacks standing' and the plaintiffs' 'injury is self-inflicted.'

More Reality-Bending Chaos in 2023 is promised with Season 2 of "Loki."

Fans of Disney+'s "Loki" series will have to wait a little longer for season two. Kevin Feige, the Marvel CEO, revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in July that the second season of the hit show starring Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson will be headed to Disney+ in mid-2023. He also announced that the season will be included in Phase Five of the MCU. Otherwise, we don't have a ton of details on what will happen during the time-travelling, reality-twisting series's second season. For everything we know so far about "Loki" season two and how it fits into the MCU, click here. Hiddleston teased that the second season would begin right where season one left off. "OK, so we can't say anything," says Loki, but we can't say anything at the end of episode six, but [the] TVA comes back to us." He's extremely traumatic, he's incredibly emotional, and he's trying to tell Mobius what happens, but Mobius doesn't recognize him. And then he heads to see the statue of the Timekeepers, but it is not a statue of someone else. I'm hoping we'll start from there."

Sophia Di Martino Is Your 2022 Breakthrough Success Is Yours.'

www.mtv.com, June 5, 2022
Even as they weren't necessarily the top-billed celebrities in a MTV Movie & TV Awards category, Breakthrough Performance tends to honor those that created TV and film scenes for their own. And this year, no one was more likely to be recognized than English actress Sophia Di Martino's portrayal of Loki's Sylvie, an alternate version of the title character whose rage fuels her as both a comedic and a ruthless warrior. "This is actually really heavy!" As she took the podium for her acceptance address, she spoke about the Golden Popcorn, the first in a long line of winners who have come to that realization after being awarded the coveted statue. After setting it down (wisely), she embarked on her own tale of portraying Sylvie and the story surrounding her portrayal.
