Sirvan Khosravi (born 26 July 1982) is an Iranian pop rock singer, guitarist, and music arranger.
He is the older brother of Xaniar Khosravi, who also plays pop music.
He started learning music as a child and later played the synthesizer professionally.
Early life
Sirvan Khosravi was born in Tehran. He is of Persian descent. At the age of 11, he started learning the keyboard. Kaveh Yaghmaei, his mentor, took lessons at 16 years old.
Career
Sirvan appeared on other Iranian artists as an Audio Engineer, Mixing Engineer, and Producer before releasing his first album in 2005. He recorded his first album, "To Khial Beri," after meeting Omid Nejad in 2001 and releasing it in 2005.
Khosravi began recording his second music album, "Sa'ate 9," in 2005 and 2009. In February 2009, he appeared at his first concert. He made a name for himself among Iranians in 2012 by appearing in the end song of "Sakhteman Pezeshkan" or "Doctors' Building" show.
After finding success with his album Sa'ate 9 (Life Is Just Today), "Delam Gerefte" (I'm Feeling Blue), he began to work on his next album, Jaddeie Royaha (Road of Dreams), which was another hit. But after releasing some "highly energized" singles, he rose to national fame and began his Iran tour, gaining the media and the audience's attention. He continued playing in big cities of Iran, and before his unplugged album, he made some outstanding music videos that his followers loved. Xaniar Khosravi, his brother, also performed a high-energy World Cup single titled "70 Million Stars." He received some praise for his unplugged album, which was shot in Azadi Tower in 2015 and featured his live performances as well as some behind the scenes from his music videos. On May 25, 2019, AXE sponsored Tanha Nazar, and was produced by the Farahbod brothers, and the songs were rearranged by Sirvan's assistant Kaveh Yaghmaei and Sirvan himself.
