It came after a delay owing to Steve Smith's (right) idiosyncratic temperament when batting.

David Warner has scored his first five-day century in three years, sparking jubilant and emotional scenes at the MCG. Wife Candice could be seen watching from the stands with the couple's three children; the former iron lady appeared to clutch back tears before hugging one of her children.
