Si Robertson Life

Silas Merritt Robertson (born April 27, 1948), also known as Si Robertson and sometimes referred to as "Uncle Si" is an American television personality and a retired duck call maker at Duck Commander.

He is best known for his role on A&E's Duck Dynasty, in which he has made his name as a breakout cast member.

He has appeared on other television shows, including Buck Commander and The Duckmen of Louisiana, on the Outdoor Channel, and he was also the eponymous host of the Duck Dynasty spin-off Going Si-Ral Si-Ral Si's Last Man Standing.

Early life

Robertson was born in Vivian, Louisiana, sixth of seven children, James and Merritt (née Hale) Robertson. Jimmy Frank, Harold, Tommy, and Phil, along with two siblings, Judy and Jan, all lived in tough conditions with much less services than the average American enjoyed during Si and his siblings' childhoods. Si attended North Caddo High School in Vivian, Louisiana, which is located in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, which is in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. He followed his brother Phil on the football team, even wearing the same #10 jersey.

He was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War after dropping out of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, after three quarters. His mother gave him a set of Tupperware cups, beans, and rice, two boots, as well as two jars of jalapeo peppers in each boot during the war. He is rarely seen without one of his plastic cups consuming iced tea, which he treats with equal reverence.

In 1993, Sidney retired from the Army in the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). Robertson is renowned for his service in Monroe, Louisiana, with an exhibit at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum.

Personal life

Robertson talked to Good Morning America about his wife in an interview. "One woman has already got my heart, we've been married for 43 years (at that time), and Miss Christine Robertson is the one who speaks out." She finally said yes after he had asked for her hand in marriage about seven times. Trasa and Scott were born in 1971, and they had a daughter, Trasa, and Scott. They now have eight grandsons.

Robertson, like the majority of his family, is open about his Christian faith. "That's what brought me through 65 years of life, my faith in God, and what He's done for us and what He'll do for us." John 3:16 and 17. "I'd betrayal of others." John 3:16 and 17. Most people will tell you what 16 says, 'Oh, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son." But they don't know nothin' about the 17. According to the jingling, Jesus didn't come to condemn us. It would be the son of God if anyone had the right to condemn someone. If he didn't do it, we certainly are not qualified to do it.

In the tradition of the mid-19s and early 1970s Rankin/Bass Christmas specials and the use of celebrity narrators, Robertson lent his voice and personal appearance to the VeggieTales video Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas, in which he narrates the episode and appears as a mall janitor.

Willie Robertson, nephew and Duck Dynasty co-star Willie Robertson, appeared on an episode of Last Man Standing, together with his nephew and co-star Willie Robertson.

Robertson's uncle was in the US Army and spent eight tours in Iraq. His son was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, which prompted Robertson to advocate for improved care for veterans.

Robertson's net worth is more than $18 million.
