He is the son of Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer.

Early life

Sean Hepburn Ferrer is the son of Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer. Ferrer was born in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, and has spent periods of his life in Italy and Spain. He has a half-brother, Luca Dotti, from Hepburn's second marriage to Italian psychiatrist Andrea Dotti.

Career

He worked in film production, design, and marketing of films for many years. He has worked as an assistant director on several film projects. Albert Race Sample, who was convicted of serving in jail, converted to writing and later assisted prisoners return to normal life in 2001. Ferrer produced the film. In 2003, he published an Elegant Spirit, a biography of his mother, Audrey Hepburn. In 2020, he and his partner, Karin, published Little Audrey's Daydream, a children's book about Hepburn's childhood in Europe. The European Organisation for Rare Diseases is a charity that helps people suffering from rare diseases. Emma Ferrer and his daughter, Emma, contributed to Audrey (2020), a documentary about his mother directed by Helena Coan.
