Lily James may have portrayed herself at this year's Met Gala in a rich shade of ice blonde, but she did not want her hair to be a pale shade of ice blonde in comparison to a certain high-profile role she played recently. For her amazing role as Pamela Anderson in Hulu's "Pam & Tommy," the British actress wore a platinum-blonde wig, and now she's determined to get the color for real. James posted a naked brunette selfie to her 3.4 million Instagram followers on July 27th. The 33-year-old, hinting that a big change was coming, said that her hairdresser John MacPherson "means business." James debuted her new icy-blonde look at night, with no warning. On Instagram, an impressed James posted that the final result was a "hair miracle" considering it's notoriously difficult to switch from dark to light hair. MacPherson also shared the glamorous results, whilst close friend Rita Ora commented, "I love her blonde my Lily!"and a fan account wrote, "Back to blonde my queen!"
