Sabrina Sato Career

Television career

Sabrina spent a year in the dancers of Domingo do Faust, and briefly appeared in the telenovela Porto dos Milagres before being chosen in 2003 as part of the cast of Big Brother Brasil 3. Sabrina regained fame by joining Pânico, a comedy troupe that produces a homonymous radio show on the popular youth-focused radio station Jovem Pan. Sabrina ridiculed her own academic skills and her Caipira accent in the show.

In September 2003, a well-known radio show in Brazil, Pânico, won its own television show, called Pânico na TV, which premiered on Rede TV. Sabrina became the show's top reporter, often pulling dangerous or unusual measures, such as having her body beep, lighting candles by fart, being buried alive, allowing a scorpion to sting her on her bare backside, belching the lyrics to songs/ tales, and even eating bugs.

She made news when she revealed that she would leave Pânico in 2006. When translating, she sang of her debut, "É Verdade" (her catchphrase and also "It's true") and then talked about her departure shortly after she announced her first single, "É Verdade" (her catchphrase and "It's true" when translated). She returned to the show later this year, but it was revealed that it was purely a publicity stunt. Sabrina remained with Pânico until 2014, one year after the change to Rede Bandeirantes and renamed to Pânico na Band.

She appeared for nude twice for Playboy Brasil, both before Big Brother and in 2004 as part of a pretender.
