Ricardo Larrivée (born 1967) is a television presenter and a food writer who lives in Quebec, Canada. He is also known as Rigo the Mononym Ricardo.

Early life and education
Larrivée enrolled in the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), a hospitality school in Quebec, where he concentrated on hotel management. He studied Ottawa's communications.
Career
Larrivée went to Regina, Saskatchewan, and accepted a job as a technician with Radio-Canada. He made both simple and elaborate dishes in his spare time and established a reputation as a good cook. He was recruited to host a food show on Radio-Canada. Nevertheless, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was facing layoffs, but Larrivée was one of those who were fired.
Larrivée returned to Montreal and had the opportunity to showcase his recipes while working as a food reporter for television, radio, and newspapers.
