The West's 'appeasement' of Iran has failed and a new Reagan-Thatcher type leadership is needed to confront the regime, exiled crown prince claims

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 21, 2024
Iran's exiled crown prince has claimed that the West's 'appeasement' policy has failed and a new Reagan-Thatcher (pictured right) type leadership is required. Reza Pahlavi, (pictured left) the eldest son of the late Shah of Iran, is a prominent critic of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's (inset) Islamic regime. Speaking to The Telegraph, he said there has been a 'weak approach' by leaders in the West on 'both sides of the Atlantic' towards the Islamic Republic. He told the newspaper there should be a reset of Europe's relationship with Tehran - calling for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to be labelled a terrorist organisation. The 63-year-old also slammed British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for not doing enough to protect Iranian journalists based in London.

Here come the society brides (and grooms)!Norway's Princess Märtha Louise, the Duke of Westminster and the granddaughter of the last Shah of Iran will all tie the knot this year (but whose wedding will come out on top?)

Prince George's godfather to the King of Norway's daughter, a slew of princes, well-connected socialites, and aristocrats are competing in 2024. With Princess Märtha Louise, Hugh Grosvenor's fiancée, and the granddaughter of the last Shah of Iran all lined up for a bumper year for high-society nuptials, it looks like the next 12 months are going to be a big one for high-society nuptials. Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei, the son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, will wed his partner Anisha Isa Kalebic in a lavish 10-day celebration in the New Year. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice's husband, also announced his marriage to Chelsea in September. The couple may have been scheduled for a 2024 wedding. Here are the weddings worth swooning over this year, from bona fide to aristocratic socialites.

Other snaps of them enjoying the beach and posing with family members including her parents, Yasmine Pahlavi and Reza Pahlavi - Iran's former Crown Prince, and her sisters Noor and Farah.
