Rebecca Ryan (born 27 April 1991) is an English actress best known for her appearances in Channel 4's Shameless, Vicki MacDonald, and BBC drama Casualty's Waterloo Road and Gemma Dean.
Career
Maranna, Ryan's Northern Irish mother, was the first World Irish dancing champion. Ryan began Irish dancing lessons at age 3, became a champion in numerous competitions and finished third at age 12. In a production of The Who's Tommy at Manchester Opera House, Ryan followed her brother Charlie Ryan, Ryan, onto the stage at the age of six. Debbie Gallagher played Debbie Gallagher in Shameless, which she first played at the age of 11.
