Early life
Rayner (the spelling of "Rahner" was first introduced but "Rayner") grew up in Queens, New York. He attended College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts; his first media work was at WGBB radio in Freeport, Long Island, while attending night school at Fordham University.
