Fans of NHL rookie Matt Rempe and Flyers veteran Nicolas Deslauriers are thrilled in the EPIC brawl; but who wins the 'good old hockey war'?

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 25, 2024
On Saturday in Philadelphia, NHL fans nostalgic for the days of the Broad Street Bulls received a dose of nostalgia thanks to the rookie Matt Rempe of the New York Rangers and former Philadelphia Falcons veteran Nicolas Deslauriers. The visiting Rangers won their 10th straight victory, but the 2-1 win over New York City aside, the game will be remembered for ESPN announcer Sean McDonough's 'heavyweight match'.' Rempe, the 6-foot-7 Calgary native who fought on his first shift when making his debut last week, dropped the gloves in the first period on Saturday. 'You don't get many of these anymore,' ESPN analyst and former NHL star Ray Ferraro told play-by-play announcer Sean McDonough.' 'I was just thinking about that,' McDonough said. 'Reminiscent of the days in this feud.'
