Theofilos Xenidis (born March 10, 1966), also known as Phil X, is a Greek-Canadian musician and songwriter.

Personal life
Phil X was born to Greek-Canadian parents and grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, where he was raised in the Erindale subdivision. Phil was previously married to Ninette Terhart. Phil married Lindy Green in 2013 and has two children with her.
Career
Xenidis formed the hard rock-heavy metal band Sidinex in 1982 (named after himself), with guitarist Todd Farhood, bassist Kevin Gingrinch, and drummer Scott Masterson. Forever Young, the band's first EP, was released in 1985, before converting to Flip City in 1987 and disbanding soon after. Randy Coven, whom he met through Aldo Nova in 1990, had an opportunity to tour the United States with Aldo Nova; in 1991, he toured the United States with Aldo Nova; in 1990, he discovered Aldo Nova. He played with Triumph from 1992 to 1993, including the recording Edge of Excess and touring with them.
In 1994, Xenidis formed The Bushdoctors, a short lived band formed in Mississauga, Ontario, where they collaborated with Terry Brown, Doug Varty, Rob Kennedy, and others. They released one album, a self-titled debut, but it is no longer available. He appeared on Our Lady Peace's album "Denied" in 1994. Phil X, a guitarist, was a member of the US power pop band Powder, as well as singer and then-wife Ninette Terhart. Between 2002 and 2008, the band released three albums.
Phil X was back in 2011 for Bon Jovi's lead guitarist Richie Sambora, who missed 13 dates after recovering from injury, and Sambora's lead guitarist Richie Sambora filled in for Sambora on the US and Europe leg of the 2013 tour after Sambora left the band unexpectedly due to personal reasons. Arman Ghasemi, a mutual friend of Phil X and Jon Bon Jovi, who advised Jon Bon Jovi to use Phil X as a replacement, suggested to Jon Bon Jovi that he use Phil X as a substitute.
During a number of dates of the Because We Can tour, including their first Italian date in Milan, the entire British leg of the tour, including the Isle of Wight Festival, the South African leg, and the Australian leg, although he appeared on stage in mid-2013. Phil X, bass guitarist Hugh McDonald, and also appear on the band's album "This House Is Not for Sale" as well as their new studio effort Bon Jovi: 2020. Phil X was inducted into the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame in 2019, which honors outstanding musicians with musical roots in the Ontario city.
