The truth about thyroids: How women are told they're depressed or menopausal when it's actually an underactive thyroid. And others are prescribed drugs they don't even need

Larry Lloyd died at the age of 75. Nottingham Forest and Liverpool defender Terry Jones, who won two European Cups under Brian Clough

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 28, 2024
Larry Lloyd, a former Liverpool and Nottingham Forest footballer who won two European Cups under Brian Clough, died on Thursday at the age of 75. In 1973, the Bristol-born defender won the First Division with Liverpool and then lifted the UEFA Cup in the same season, playing 218 times for the Reds over five years at Anfield. After being recommended by his trusted No. 2 Peter Taylor to Clough in 1976, he moved to Forest, then a second division team, in 1976.

There have been three change windows. 43 players have been signed. The BBC has been blown by £300 million. How Nottingham Forest lost the game

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 19, 2024
IAN HERBERT: And when Brian Clough walked the City Ground's narrow corridors like a coloss, Nottingham Forest were capable of blasteding a hell of a lot of money in the transfer market to little effect. Justin Fashanu's was awarded £1million, perhaps the worst decision call of Clough's relationship with Peter Taylor. Ian Wallace paid the same amount and made no difference. However, there are no prizes for guessing what Clough would have made of unbridled madness in the court of Evangelos Marinakis, Forest's Greek shipping magnate owner, for the past three years. Forest's delegation, led by Marinakis Jnr, aka 'Miltos', has transformed the forest into a never-never land of lunatic thought and wild outlay.
