When probing the death of 75-year-old retired teacher Peter Coshan, police have discovered a body. He had last been seen on August 11 in Leith's Seafield Road neighborhood. On the A696 near the village of Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland, police officers investigating the man discovered the body today. The body has yet to be identified, but Mr Coshan's family has been alerted.

On Thursday, Peter Coshan, 75, was last seen in Edinburgh's Seafield Road area around 11.50 p.m. and was announced missing the next day. Two men have been charged with murder, but no evidence of his body has been found. Officers have been searching for Mr Coshan, a former Fettes College biology teacher, the school that former Labour Leader Tony Blair attended, in the north of England.
