Patrick Roy, the New York Islanders' head coach, is back in the NHL. Lane Lambert, who was booted of his duties on Saturday following the Islanders' 19-15-11 start, has been fired from his role. Roy is best known as the outstanding netminder for four Stanley Cup-winning teams: the Montreal Canadiens in 1986 and 1993, as well as the Colorado Avalanche in 1996 and 2001. He later became the Avalanche's coach, winning a 130-92-24 record in three seasons from 2013 to 2016.

According to TMZ, Tony Hrkac, a former Tampa Bay Lightning scout, was seated in the Kings press box when someone started coughing. According to Hrkac, the individual began to change color when Hrkac arrived and administered the life-saving Heimlich attack.
