Pat Higgins (born in Essex, England) is a film director, writer, producer, and owner of Jinx Media Ltd, the company's first film director, writer, producer, and investor. Trash House's first feature, Trash House, was released on DVD in Europe in February 2006.

Screen Entertainment, the UK distributors of such controversial titles as I Spit On Your Grave and Faces of Death, were releasing it. KillerKiller, Higgins' second film, was shot in 2006 and finished in 2007.

All worldwide rights were granted to York Entertainment, who released the film on DVD in August 2007.Higgins' third feature, Hellbride, was officially premiered at the Festival of Fantastic Films in the United Kingdom in September 2007, where it was given 'Commended' status.

In the United States and the United Kingdom, it was released on DVD in the United States on May 5, 2009 by Midnight Releasing and in the United Kingdom in March 2010. The Devil's Music, Higgins' fourth film, was released as complete on January 19, 2008.

In 2008, it premiered at the Festival of Fantastic Films, where it was named winner of the Independent Feature category and was released on DVD in the United States in December 2009. Higgins was one of the "most promising British horror filmmakers" in October 2008, when he announced his participation in Bordello Death Tales, in which Higgins filmed a sequence titled Vice Day. Higgins is also the original writer and producer of Strippers vs. Werewolves, a horror film directed by Black & Blue Films starring Adele Silva, Barbara Nedeljáková, Sarah Douglas, and Billy Murray.

During development, his original script was rewritten extensively. Battlefield Death Tales, a Bordello Death Tales sequel, was released in 2012.

The Werewolves, Cheerleaders, and Chainsaws were renamed Nazi Zombie Death Tales for UK release and then renamed to Angry Nazi Zombies for US release.

This year, the premiere of How Not to Make a Horror Movie was followed by another show named How Not to Make a Horror Movie, which also included several other filmmakers who shared their worst on-set experiences. On January 23, 2016, Higgins premiered The House on the Witchpit, the first film to be announced at the Horror-on-Sea festival without releasing any photographs, trailer, cast, or plot information.

In October 2017, Higgins destroyed the master copy of the film onstage, after it was shown.
