Potap (born May 8, 1981, Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian producer, composer, actor, writer, editor, script writer, television presenter, master of sports at water polo, trainer and mentor of the vocal show "The Voice."

Has been involved in the creation and/or producer of such well-known music acts as "Potap y Nastya," "Vremya I Steklo," MOZGI, and many more, the vast majority of which have gone international hits.

Potapenko appeared as a member of "VuZV" from 2000 to 2006 (Vhid u Zminnomu Vzutti – Re-shoe upon Entry). The song, "Na Svoeh" ("On its own"), became the official soundtrack to a film "Odin za vseh," ("One for all"), while his other song, "New'Z'Cool and XS," became a main theme for a classic horror film shot in Ukraine, "The Adit," and became the official soundtrack to a film "One for all."

In 2006, the artist collaborated with NK to produce the duo "Potap & Nastya," in which Oleksii appeared as a producer, singer, composer, video producer, and script writer. The pair debuted with "Ne Para" ("Don't Match"), which later became a international hit. The pair unveiled their debut album in 2008 with the same name.

"#etomoyanoch" ("#thatmykindofnight"), co-written Ukrainian song "Trimay" ("Want it"), "Gimme"), international hit in Spanish and English "Peligroso" ("Dangerous"), LOMALA, and "Ass Like Kim" ("Ass Like Kim's"), assassination by NK, "Ass Like Kim" ("Look Like Kim"), assaided "Hold it" has dominated national top charts for over a year and been named as a top performer at YUNA Awards 2019 as a Pop Hit of the Year, while Peligroso remains in Billboard top charts under Tropical Songs' Top Billboard top charts.
