Kirel appeared in the Pushers documentary film from HOT, which follows parents who want their children to be successful in various fields. Kirel and her father, who was financially supporting her entertainment, appeared on the show. Roberto Ben-Shoshan is the head of Kirel in Israel and Sharona Nomder (Morse Artists) worldwide.

"Medabrim," she performed her first song on YouTube in 2015. "Killer" was released by the artist in the year after the festival's success last year. "Please Don't Suck" was her first international hit on July 14, 2021. On October 15, 2021, she released the single "Bad Little Thing" which she also performed at the Miss Universe 2021 Ceremony.

"Thought About That" was released by the singer on January 12, 2022.

She was selected by the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) on July 11, 2022, to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Kirel herself said the following day that she had yet to officially register to compete and that her team would "make a decision later today." Kirel revealed on August 10 that she had accepted the invitation to Eurovision, saying: "I'm putting everything to the side and going into this with utter confidence." "I have always felt proud to represent this country."
