Early life
Noya Kirel was born in Ra'ananana, Israel, to Israeli-born Ashkenazi Jews of Jewish (Austrian-Jewish) descent with both Sephardi Jutical and Mizrahi Jewish (Moroccan-Jewish) descent. She is the youngest daughter of Amir and Ilana Kirel and has two older brothers. Glassco Glass, an imported glass company headquartered in Barkan's industrial park, is her father's CEO. Kirel has relatives who were killed in the Holocaust, according to her father's side.
At birth, Noya, but a rabbi suggested to her parents that she change her name to Noa so she would move ('Noa' also means movement in Hebrew). The rabbi also predicted that she would become a dancer.
