A forensic psychiatrist at Broadmoor recalled encountering the Yorkshire Ripper (centre) and discovering that murder's often'struggle with being hated'. Gwen Adshead (left) 63, a patient in Crowthorne, Berkshire, has spent 30 years in hospitals alongside violent prisoners such as Peter Sutcliffe, but the psychiatrist said she had "nothing to see." Elsewhere, she said she does not judge the murderers she works with because she believes she may have the ability to murder 'given the right circumstances.' Speaking to a television psychiatrist from Los Angeles, he discussed how it feels to work with murders and offered an insight into their thoughts. (right)

After the WA Public Trustee lost his $2.8 million, Perth man Neil Jackson was left homeless

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 26, 2022
Because the state's Public Trustee mismanaged his funds, Neil Jackson was left homeless (centre) in Perth. He was awarded $2.8 million after a catastrophic car accident in 1997 left him with serious brain injury (left with ex-wife Janet Jackson). However, his family claims that all the money was lost in overseas investments and that Mr Jackson was given no say in how his money was spent. He lost his last home, his southern suburbs home, to a fire in 2019 and he has now been forced to sleep in his car since (right). The trustee then repossessed his house, unaware that Mr Jackson had been refused welfare benefits until 2029. His tale has been widely circulated online and has sparked controversy among commenters who have called for someone to be held accountable for the public sector's debt.

Sutcliffe, who killed 13 people and attempted to murder another seven, had begged the friend to scatter his remains'somewhere nice and sunny' so he could be in a 'better and happier place.' After flying south for a holiday this week, she carried his ashes to a rocky cove off the Playa de los Pocillos beach, which is popular with British visitors on the Spanish island's southern coast. Sutcliffe died with Covid at the age of 74 in November 2020. He had barely been in foreign countries before being arrested in January 1981.
