Career

Calis began acting professionally at the age of 7 and made her television debut with her role as Annie Cooper in the 2007 television film Christmas Caper.

Emily Brenek appears in the film The Possession and Maryann. She appeared on NBC's television show The Firm. She has appeared in the films Donovan's Echo, Daydream Nation, and Sharp as Marbles, a 2008 comedy, as well as a role as a voice actress in Barbie Presents: Thumbelina.

On television, she was integral in The Firm, a role as voice-actress in Dinosaur Train, as well as appearances in the miniseries Impact and Alice. She appeared in the television shows Christmas Caper, Held Hostage and Gone, as well as When Calls the Heart, a 2013 film pilot for the television show. Mary Anne appeared in the film "Can't Come Out to Play" in the United States, which was also starring Samantha Morton.
