Natalia Oreiro Iglesias (Spanish pronunciation: [natalja oej]; born 19 May 1977) is a Uruguayan actress, singer, writer, model, television presenter, and fashion designer. Oreiro began her career in telenovelas. Since 2008, she has concentrated on filmmaking. Oreiro has worked on social media shows and events for companies like Greenpeace and UNICEF, the former of which had designated her ambassador for Argentina and Uruguay in September 2011. She has been included in Esquire magazine's "The Sexiest Woman Alive Atlas" list.

'I'm Gilda' (Re Loca) and '"Super Crazy' are two of her best known film titles,' (Infancia Clandestina) and "The German Doctor" are two of the Oscar nominees (Wakolda). Natalia Oreiro, the niece of Carlos Florencio Oreiro Poggio and Mabel Cristina Iglesias Bourié, was born on May 19th, 1977. Natalia studied drama at the age of eight and twelve for auditions. She appeared in more than 30 television advertisements for Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Johnson & Johnson during her teens. She went to Argentina at the age of 16 to work there and rekindle her aspiration to be a performer. She appeared on MTV VJ as an actress, and in 1995, she earned a role in the soap opera Dulce Ana. She appeared in the TV show 90-60-90 modelos (1996) and then in Ricos y famosos (1997, playing Valeria). In the Argentinian film Un Argentino en New York (1998), she appeared in the next movie.
