Early life and education
Fedner was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine's former tsi, and migrated to Columbus, Ohio, as a migrant with her parents at the age of six. Alla Fedner, her mother, is a computer programmer, and Gregory Fedner, her father, is a civil engineer. She has twin sisters who were born in the United States.
From the third to the twelfth grade, Fedner attended art classes at Columbus College of Art and Design, a merit-based scholarship.
Fedner earned his Fashion Design BFA degree at Parsons School of Design in Bexley, Ohio, after graduating from Bexley High School (New York City and Paris College of Art). She was chosen to compete in "Fusion Fashion: FIT vs. Parsons" during her freshman year and received the Fusion Award. Fedner spent time under Tim Gunn at Parsons and received the Silver Thimble Award for her junior year's best collection. Career
