Norah "Nasha" Abdul Aziz (born 14 May 1971) is a Malaysian model and actor.
She was born in Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Modelling career
Nasha Aziz began her modelling career in 1989. Tiara Jacquelina, an actress and model, introduced her to the modeling industry. She continued to develop her image as a model in Malaysia and turned down a New York modeling job due to religious and cultural reasons. She modeled in Hong Kong and London and then developed to acting.
Nasha was given the honor of being both a Malay number one supermodel and a symbol. She appeared in commercials for Nescafe Classic, Avon, Pantene, and Panasonic.
Nasha is currently the representative of Avon and Polo Hauss in Malaysia. This is her third year as the face of fashion behemoth Polo Ralph Lauren. Nasha said in a recent interview that she is more concerned with her modeling than acting for now. Nasha got an acting role in the Malaysian film Bara in 1998. Effa, a prostitute, was also a prostitute in the film Bara. Erra Fazira, a Malay film primadona, had previously turned down the role.
