Nadine Nassib Njeim Career

Post-pageant career

Since being denied a title Miss Lebanon, Njeim has pursued a career in acting and appeared in Law and Cello, Samra, Nos Yawm, Tareeq, Khamse, and 2020. She was the first Arab actress nominated to the Seoul International Film Festival for her role in Samra. She discusses her work in acting and films such as Sorry Mom.

In 2016, Njeim's views on premarital sex and gender parity, expressed in a 2012 interview with Future TV, increased to fame, as many found them to be controversial. "I want women to stay women," she said inter alia. I'd be compared to a man if they compare me to a monster. I don't want to. I want to be a woman."

In reaction to the criticism she received, Njeim said in another interview that she believes the resurfaced clip had been purposefully edited to disparage her. She affirmed women's rights and that her message promoted gender equality, which she said.

In season one of Al Hayba, Njeim appeared but not in seasons 2 and 3 because her role as a woman on the program conformed to gender stereotypes and she wanted her character to be more active.
